Trip Overview
This is the description of a seven-day trek that makes a circuit of the Helambu region. The easiest starting point for this trek is Sundarijal because of its proximity to Kathmandu.
We can make the trek in either direction, because it closes a loop from Pati Bhanjyang, The preferred route is clockwise as we have described here; first visiting the high ridge to the west of Helambu Valley, then heading to Tarke Gyang and descending the Malemchi Khola before climbing back to Pati Bhanjyang. There are all kinds of other possible variations, including a direct route to Tarke Gyang from Pati Bhanjying, than down the ridge through Shermathang, ending at Melumchi bazar. The Helambu trek is an easy trek to organize & low elevation. You do not need much warm clothing. This area is non-tourist area & will know more about Sherpa cultures.

Day 01 : Arrive at Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
Day 02 : Sightseeing and Shopping in Kathmandu valley
Day 03 : Early morning drive to Sundarijal (15km.) start trek to Chisapani 2194m.
Day 04 : Chisapani to Gulbhanjyang
Day 05 : Gulbhanjyang to Tharepati
Day 06 : Tharepati to Tarke Ghyang
Day 07 : Tarke Ghyang to Melamchi Ghyang
Day 08 : Melamchi Ghyang to Melamchi Bazaar
Day 09 : Melamchi Bazaar to Kathmandu
Day 10 : Departure on your own destination
